ljm Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I was hoping you could help me with a strategy...I have tried bidding through Priceline on a Resort in the WDW area - starting at $60 and raising as high as $85 with no luck. Available rates range from $189 at the Wyndham, $220 at the Swan/Dolphin, $210 at the Hilton, $269 at the Marriott Orlando World Center (got this one last time through Priceline, and it was great!). Am I just trying too early? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! :)
thereuare Posted October 20, 2004 Report Posted October 20, 2004 I would suspect that it is just a little early... i would stick with your current strategy until the end of November or so. At that point if still unsuccessful, let us know and we'll re-evaluate the situation. It wouldn't be a bad idea to book a cancellable back-up in the meantime 'just in case'.Keep us updated as to your progress. L1A7427 Posted October 27, 2004 Report Posted October 27, 2004 PLEASE let me know what your results are thus far. I am also looking to bid on a PL Resort in this area during the same dates.I'd love your feedback!
