Looking to spend tow nights in Boston from Aug 30 to Sep 1 and would like to ask for hotel suggestions. My plan is to see the hit the usual tourist sites of Boston including going to Harvard and MIT. My prime concern is good central location so I won't be spending a lot of time traveling. Thanks.

You'll likely be taking the T to most places you need to go as i think Boston is a fairly spreadout city, most things are not concentrated in one specific location.

As it appears that you're looking to use PRICELINE for this, it's not worthwhile to recommend specific hotels since you can't choose which one you will receive. Better to focus on the zones, look to see if it, and the hotels that have previously been reported at the star level you are seeking, work for your plans and start your research from there. The two most frequently bid zones in this regionar the Copley and Quincy Market, so i'd start with those. The T (boston's subway system) is pretty good and convenient, and shoudl be able to get you to most places you want to go, but it does shut down early (~midnite-1am).

If you'd like more control of the exact location or hotel that you are likely to receive then HOTWIRE may be a better option.
