retlaw Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 Started bidding at $65 on a 3.5* hotel in Fishermans WharfGot rejected and received a counteroffer of +$17 which I refusedAdded Marina-Lombardstreet and raised to $70 which was accepted by the Sheraton Fishermans Wharf.I was actually hoping for the Hyatt at Fishermans Wharf but i suppose this will do. Location is great and $70 seems like a very nice price (didn't expect it to get accepted).Used the betterbidding PRICELINE link by the way.Grts, ret

retlaw Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 Could anyone tell me wheather it would be a good idea to phone ahead to the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf to request two beds in our rooms? Anyone experience with their stance towards special roomrequests from PL-winners?Grts,ret
AaronJB Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 2 beds are not guaranteed via PRICELINE reservations; you can certainly call the hotel, but it's their choice whether to honor the request and if they do, it's still only a request. I'd call and ask politely about two beds and see what they say. If you get a no, I'd wait a few days and see if you can get someone else on the phone.
