retlaw Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 I have one more question regarding my win. I've got two rooms at the Andaz. Since we are a party of four (no couples) I was wondering wheather it would be a good idea to call ahead to request two beds in our rooms instead of one King or Queen per room (if such rooms even exist at the Andaz?)? Has anyone got experience with which rooms Priceline-winners generally get apointed to at the Andaz? City-or mountainview? And again, might it be a good idea to call ahead to request a cityview room or not?In other words: what's their stance towards special room requests from PL-winners?Thanks for the info.Grts, ret
AaronJB Posted June 28, 2009 Report Posted June 28, 2009 As noted in your other thread, PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed per room in general. You can call the hotel to request 2 beds, but it's the choice of the hotel whether to honor a request or not.
eyewitness Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 In other words: what's their stance towards special room requests from PL-winners?I got 3 nights at $100 and initially was put on the 7th or 8th floor...with 2 beds. I requested immediately for a queen or king and was put on the 11th floor. Both rooms were of the "Hill" view and had no 'balcony'. On the bright side, the 11th floor was the Led Zepplin floor of the old riot hyatt.
