AubieTurtle Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 Started at $70 and tried other bids of $73, $77, and $81. After a bid of $85, got a counter offer for $107. I considered not taking it since with counter offers you can usually meet somewhere in the middle but wanted to get the reservation taken care of and not go nuts over a few dollars a night. I'm a bit jealous of the folks getting rates in the mid $80 range in July but I've found Vancouver in August is usually difficult, especially for long stays. Overall not a bad deal considering even the best prices when not using Priceline or Hotwire are about double.
