jsublime Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Trying to book a room for 9/5-9/8. I see a 5 star listed for 139, amenties are casino, fitness cetner, pool(s), restaurant(s), business center, golf nearby, tennis nearby, spa services. That is all, I have clicked the link to see if there are more. The TA rating is 4.0 out of 5 based on 1760+ reviews. This looks like either the Venetian or Wynn based on the info I found here. I've never been to either but based on the TA reviews I think I would prefer the Venetian. I just checked TA and both the Venetian and Wynn have 4.0s but the Venetian has 1987 reviews while the Wynn has 1785, this makes me think it is probably the Wynn. Is there anything else I can do to confirm which hotel it might be?Thanks!
thereuare Posted June 26, 2009 Report Posted June 26, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!I'd agree that this is mostly likely the Wynn and that would be my best guess. Both are highly rated and i know people who favor each, and while you may prefer the Venetian (although it doesn't sound like a strong preference), is it worth the additional cost it will likely be booking thru a non-opaque source vs. the rate of this HOTWIRE offering? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. geewhy Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 Hi jsublime, Did you book on HOTWIRE eventually? I'm looking at the exact same hotel (same amenties and 1760+ reviews) for a different date, want to book the Wynn but not the Venetian. Thanks!
jsublime Posted June 29, 2009 Author Report Posted June 29, 2009 Hi there, I didn't book yet, I will follow up this post when I do. Also, please let me know if you book and if it is the Wynn. Thanks!
jsublime Posted June 29, 2009 Author Report Posted June 29, 2009 Just saw this post in another thread Hotwire Las Vegas WynnIt seems this is the Wynn.
thereuare Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 It seems this is the Wynn.Multiple properties can use the same amenity icon combination... see this Hotwire Venetian thread where this same amenity combination resulted in the Venetian. (although i do agree the one you're seeing is likely the Wynn)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
