st2327 Posted October 19, 2004 Report Share Posted October 19, 2004 I just bid $75 for a Scottsdale resort for March 2 to March 4 2005 and Priceline returned my bid and said to add $22 When I tried to add only $4 to $79 they would not accept and kept telling me to add the $22. If this was any resort other than the Scottsdale Plaza , I would go for it but I haven't heard anything good about this resort. Looking for advice please. Link to comment
bbbb Posted October 19, 2004 Report Share Posted October 19, 2004 To under cut their counter offer you have to add a zone without a resort or 5* in it.Then you can bid lower then the $22 they wanted you to add to your bid.I have stayed at the Plaza resort in a suite and it was very nice.I don"t know about the regular rooms.$4 won"t be enough,it usualy takes about 1/2 the counter offer.Good luck Link to comment
