Hotwire Hotel: *4 Hotel in SJ

Hi,

Staying in San Juan for one night pre-cruise on 10/17. Our ship the Carnival Victory is sailing from pier 4. I have tried getting a room at the Sheraton in OSJ but either they don't offer room stays on Sat-Sun or are booked.

Therefore, I'm unsure as what would be my next best option. I did a search on Hotwire and the results were:

*4 Stars: 119

Resort

Pool

Restaurant

Business Center

High Speed Internet

3.5 Stars: $114

Near Beach

Casino

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness Center

Pool

Restaurant

Business Center

High Speed Internet

Does anyone know which hotels these can be? Also which was one would be the best to stay at? And how far are they from the pier.

The 4* property has not yet been identified, but if you change your search to 4adults/0children a different 4* appears for about the same price with:

Resort, Beachfront, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Hi-Speed Interent, Business, Laundry, Tennis, Spa

This is a match for the Inter-Continental and that would be our best guess. Given that the amenities above are a sub-set of this list, it's possible that they're the same hotel but with a different set of amenity icons, but i'm not no certain so if you're interested in this property it would be 'safer' to purchase as 4adults with the 'full' amenity list.

The 3.5* is a match for the Radisson Ambassador so that would be our best guess for that one.

You may want to check out Hotels By The Pier if your interest is in something that is as close as possible to the pier.
