Priceline Hotel: 3.5* San Francisco (Fishermans Wharf) Hyatt

Been trying for days now with Permutation bidding on USW. Bid up to $85 bod keep getting denied. I read about the Nikko for as low as $80.

What am I doing wrong here?

Would like to stay from sept 24 till 27 (3 nights)

[EDIT] Never mind; Settled for Fisherman's Wharff instead (which the wife wanted to begin with; wait till she has to walk to Union Sq...)

Been bidding for a couple of days w/o succes. Eventually also considered Fishermans Wharf, although I preferred USW which seemed like a lot more going on place. (Dunno why I think this; comments on that, anybody?)

Started bidding at $65 denied. $71 denied

$79 was countered with a $22 higher proposal which I didn't do

Instead raised 5 and got the Hyatt for $84.

Seems like an ok price, considering the Hyatt charges $167 a night themselves for the same period.

Don't know if the Hyatt is much lesser than a 4* USW like Hilton or so. But all sales are final so I guess It'll have to do. :)
