For what it's worth, this was a very nice hotel, but the location was disappointing. Maybe it's because the season was summer and there weren't many people on either of the college campuses, but the neighborhood was dull. The hotel was accessible to center city via public transportation or bicycle, but it definitely wasn't in the center of the action.
