Wyomingtraveler Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 After visiting this website I decided to bid on a 4* star hotel on Priceline for Downtown Denver. Of course, as always I started my bid by using the PRICELINE link provided on this site. I started by bidding on Sunday evening at $60 for just the one zone. I then upped my bid last night to $62 and was told that if I added $17 I could get a hotel. My experience and the advice of others here told me to hold out and not fall for the Pricelines trick. In any event rather than waiting a full 24 hours I added Northeast Denver as a bidding zone, as know that there are no 4* hotels located in this area. Well in any event by doing this and upping my bid to $65 I was able to get a room at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center. Based on the rate information from Hyatt.com I would have paid $167.30 + taxes for a room at this hotel, so I think I did okay.Wyomingtraveler
