HOTWIRE and PRICELINE are both excellent services for getting a discount on *a* hotel, but as a trade-off, one has to be flexible on which hotel they stay at. PRICELINE doesn't allow one to choose which hotel they stay at, and HOTWIRE doesn't confirm which hotel you are staying at until after purchase.

If you have to stay at a particular hotel, I would recommend using Orbitz.com and the current deal0hotel coupon code for 10% off.
