rsmolen Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Please help me identify the following three hotels in the Empire State Building Area on Hotwire for 1 room, 2 adults from 7/24/09-7/26/091. 4 Star, $149, Amenities: Business Center2. 3.5 Star $149, Amenities: Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Restaurant, High-Speed Internet Access3. 3 Star $113, Amenities: (None)My suspicion is that the 4 Star is either the Roger Williams Hotel or the Carlton on Madison Avenue. I am totally stumped on the 3.5 Star and the 3 Star choices, though. Thanks in advance for any help.
thereuare Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! Both the Roger Williams Hotel or the Carlton on Madison Avenue have been reported with just a Business icon, so either of these would be our best guess, but it could be just about any 4* hotel in Manhattan that has decided to limit the icons they show. The 3.5* has not yet been identified, a guess would be the Morgans Ian Schrager Hotel if it has been downgraded to the 3.5* level, although there is no evidence of this at the moment, just speculatation based upon not seeing anything else that matches. No guess for the 3*.Do you need to be in this particular area, as it's not the most commonly used for the average visitor to the city. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
