JanetNC Posted June 27, 2009 Report Posted June 27, 2009 Searching the hotel website for rates last week, there was very limited weekend availability, only suites, so you were quite lucky to get a room on Friday. This hotel would appeal for long weekends, weddings, etc so expect mid-week will continue to have the most availability and weekends tighter. I have bid PRICELINE for many years and often win a hotel for 1/2 to 1/3 of their suggested "bid increase" by using free re-bids, and there are now many available for 4* Asheville. But for a tight weekend night, it was wise to just take their offer and not hassle for a few dollars. Hope you enjoyed your stay!
