mroy Posted June 25, 2009 Author Report Posted June 25, 2009 I tried again on Priceline (using the link) and went from 105 to 115 in various bid increments at 3.5 stars and could not get a room. The hotwire option is now $121 USD plus taxes. I may have to bite the bullet and take hotwire.
mroy Posted June 25, 2009 Author Report Posted June 25, 2009 Hotwire now has an option at $120 for four 4 stars for this timeframe. Again for 2 adults and 1 child. 7/4 to 7/5This one has complimentary breakfast, kitchenette, fitness center, restaurant, business center, and high speed internet access. It received 4.5 out of 5 from Trip Advisor on 60+ reviews.Any ideas?
thereuare Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 This property has not yet been reported to the board but the Embassy Suites would seem like a likely candidate that that woudl be my best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. mroy Posted June 28, 2009 Author Report Posted June 28, 2009 Yes, I thought it might be Embassy Suites too. In any case, I ended up booking directly with the Marriott directly for the Marriott Chateau Champlain as that was preferred and the reservation rate on their web site was reasonable (if I'm going to have to bid $120+ on priceline in USD, I might as well just book directly with the hotel that I preferred). Thanks for the help.
