lissamys Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Hi, we are going to Boston from 9 Nov - 12 Nov. This is our first visit - can you tell me which area is best to stay (ideal for sightseeing - we don't have a car). Our budget is about $100 per night but won't mind paying a bit more for something like Intercontinental. Can you suggest a bidding strategy? Do you think I should just bid for one night first - then use the option to extend my stay if I get something nice? Thanks.
AaronJB Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 HOTWIRE has a 3.5* in the Copley Square-Back Bay area for these dates with Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business for $95. That would likely be the Sheraton or Hilton, and either option would seem like a great deal for these dates - I'm surprised HOTWIRE had anything in Boston for these dates under $100, as that city can often be quite expensive. You could try bidding $80 for a 3.5* in the Back Bay-Copley area for these dates in order to see if one of these hotels will accept for less via PRICELINE.Please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links, and let us know how it does or if you have questions.
