Hotwire Hotel: 3* Pittsburgh (Downtown) Hilton

89 dollars a nite from july 1-5. Work out room, rest, bus cntr, and highspeed internet. Any ideas what hotel this is and any ideas for staying in pittsburgh. I dont know what areas are very good.

This property doesn't match any "known" hotels at the 3* level. If i were to take a guess i'd think it could be the Hilton which has previously been reported to the board, but at the 3.5* level. It hasn't been reported via HOTWIRE in over 5 years, so it is possible that it's been downgraded, but there's no evidence of such.

Pitthsburgh is a relatively small city and if you intend to "walk around and see the site" then Downtown is likely where you want to stay.

You were right this was the Hilton. Was 91 by the time I booked today.

I lived in Pittsburgh and LOVE the place. Downtown is safe and lots to do.

Make a point of going to Primantis for a famous sandwich. The Strip District is lots of fun as well as Shadyside and Squirrel Hill for shopping. Enjoy the beautiful rivers and bridges. Go up the Duquesne Incline for a beautiful view of downtown.

We are driving through this month because we miss the place so much. We are looking for a 4* downtown. Wish us luck.
