Please help identify two hotels in North York - Vaughan area Ontario for check in 6/22/2009, check out on 6/24/2009.

The 3* is a match for the Novotel North York. The 2.5* has not been identified, but it's rather uncommon for a hotel to have a restaurant and complimentary breakfast. My best guess is the Monte Carlo Inn Vaughan Suites.

I did not want to pay for parking at the Novotel North York and did not want to take a chance of the possibility of Monte Carlo.

I switched the area to Markham / Richmond Hill and a hotel with smoke free, fitness, restaurant, pool, and laundry came up for $52 for the same dates. I am guessing it was the Holiday Inn. I chose to use the link on this site for PRICELINE and bid for a 3* at $45 thinking I could get the Holiday Inn Markham for less money than on Hotwire. I was successful and will post my win on Priceline forum.

Used betterbidding PRICELINE link to bid.

Tried bidding on Priceline 4 nights this week to win a 3* hotel in the Vaughn / North York zone with no success for the same dates (6/22-6/24).

Started bidding each night at $35, then $50, $60, $70. Hoping to get the Residence Inn.

Gave up this morning and changed zone to Markham, 3*.

Based PRICELINE bid on HOTWIRE ($52) hotel for the same suspected property and date.

First bid of $45 accepted. Hotel is Markham Holiday Inn.
