Alex in MI Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 For 8/5-10, Hotwire showed a 4* in Dupont Circle - Embassy Row for 109/night -- fitness, pool, restaurant, business, internet. According to the Hotwire hotel list, that could be the Hotel Palomar or the Omni Shoreham, both of which are excellent hotels. Also according to the list, the Hilton is 3.5* (down from 4) and should have had the pool icon removed. I'm slightly leery, though, as I really don't want the Hilton. Does anyone know if the Hilton still is a 3.5* on Hotwire? Thanks.

I tried to confirm using the vacation package side of the service, but that hotel is not showing on the VP side, so wasn't able to confirm using that.However....The 4* that I'm seeing in the Dupont Circle-Embassy Row area has a 4.5/5 tripadvisor rating, which would confirm that it's not the Hilton, which certainly doesn't have a 4.5/5. The Palomar does have a 4.5/5, so that would be a match for that.Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase.
