I'm quite new to this but I think when you bid you commit a binding contract so cannot get out of it. $50 sounds like a good price though.

Welcome to BetterBidding, chmod755.

Thank you for posting your winning bid. Your reservation is non-refundable and non-transferable; those are the terms you agreed to when you signed your initials to your bid. You can try to call Priceline and plead your case; you might get lucky, but don't expect any sort of refund or credit.

As tilepusher suggests, contact Priceline directly. They likely will not give you a refund, but I have received a credit to spend on future hotel bookings. (

I find however, not being indignant, and being sickly sweet and apologetic helped me. They are in the right. We did agree to the terms.

I simply admitted to them that it was late when I booked, and I had clicked on a zone, that I later realized didn't work into my travel plans at all.

I actually didn't ask for a refund, I simply suggested that I didn't want the room to sit empty, and that I was willing to take the loss (that's how inconvenient the booking was for me). Seeing as it was weeks away, I suggested perhaps they could resell the room.

So I received the credit (with some charm of course)

On another occasion a couple of years back, it was a no go and I was SOOL.

Good luck.
