3-4* Anchorage hotel, 7/17 - 7/18

I'm looking for a hotel in downtown Anchorage for a pre-cruise stay.

Budget ~$100. It'll be good if free hotel-airport/AKRR shuttle is provided.

Any recommendations on how to bid on priceline/hotwire??

Rates are high for your date. The Howard Johnson Plaza on HOTWIRE looks like a bargin! HOTWIRE don't have any inventory for the moment within your budget except for the HoJo.

If think you have a bigger chance if you aim at 3*/2.5*. Using PRICELINE don't guarantee any shuttle service.

What is your plan if you don't hit a hotel on PRICELINE or HOTWIRE?

I am not too confident with the hotels possibly offered. I'll prob look for another alternative.
