Quarrel Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 I am going with Toronto west as reading through this site is seems the better choice!!(even though it will cost me more.) I am using hotwire as i have before and like the pricing better. Here is the result I am thinking on pickingLocation:Downtown Toronto WestStar rating: 4Check-in:Fri, Sep 18, 2009Check-out:Sun, Sep 27, 2009Amenities:Smoke free rooms, fitness center, pools, restaurants, business center, high speed accessTHe price is 96 a night.thanks in advance.....
tilepusher Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding, Quarrel. The amenities and TripAdvisor information are consistent with the Sheraton Toronto Centre, so that would be my best guess. If you decide to book this hotel, please use the Hotwire link on this site to begin your purchase.
Quarrel Posted June 17, 2009 Author Report Posted June 17, 2009 Thanks! I figured as much. I will prob be booking it tonight or tomorrow. Or I might make another post with another choice :)
Quarrel Posted June 17, 2009 Author Report Posted June 17, 2009 There is a hotel with the exact same set up, but for $60 in the East. ? should i stick to the west?Location:Downtown Toronto EastStar rating: 4Check-in:Fri, Sep 18, 2009Check-out:Sun, Sep 27, 2009Amenities:Smoke free rooms, fitness center, pools, restaurants, business center, high speed access
tilepusher Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 That hotel is a match for the Delta Chelsea. Many people like the location of the Delta, but the Sheraton is considered to be the better hotel. But is it $36/night better? I haven't stayed at either hotel, so I can't give you an informed answer. I'm sure that others here will be able to give you more help with this decision.
Quarrel Posted June 17, 2009 Author Report Posted June 17, 2009 Thanks! I know the location of both, and I was wondering if it is better to get the 30 cheaper place, I don't know what is better or has better rooms. I even considered doing both just for the heck of it!
AaronJB Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 If you are just looking for a place to sleep and the cheaper hotel gets good reviews, I'd go with that and save the $30 for a nice dinner or whatever else. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.
Quarrel Posted July 16, 2009 Author Report Posted July 16, 2009 I am currently looking to stay in toronto Sept 17th-28th via hotwire. There are two 4 stars that come up, both the same except price :High speed internet, Business center, restaurants, Pool, Fitness center, and smoke free. The Toronto east is currently 57, the one in the west is currently going for 96. Is the one in the west really worth paying that much more? Should I save my money or pay more. Should I wait closer to the date or is it smart to get it now? Thanks in advance :)
