cmlars Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 This bid was placed using $10 bonus cash (from a code in June "Budget Travel" magazine), so was actually $85 + $10 bonus cash. Anyhow, bid up to $100 in the 4* White House and Capitol zones with no success. Lowered to 3.5 stars and starting at $65 worked up to the winning bid (using Capitol and WH zones plus free re-bids).Haven't seen this hotel come up too much on here. The American Academy of Pediatrics convention is going on that week (which I'll be attending) and this is actually one of the 15 or so "official hotels", so there's a shuttle to the convention center, which works out well for us. Lowest average rate I found was $204/night for the entire stay.
