Priceline Hotel: Help with Bidding - Greensboro East, NC 2*

I'm trying to bid for 2* in Greensboro East for one night June 26 (checkout 27th), which I think will be the Holiday Inn Express East. Last night I tried $35, and then my husband tried $40, and neither were accepted. Any help is appreciated!

We'd like to stay under $54 because there is a similar hotel along our route that we can book from the hotel website for $53.99. We're just looking for a place to stop during a roadtrip.

Then i would just continue to increase as you have in $3-$5 increments.

If the other hotel has a cacnellable rate then i would book that now as well to protect yourself from any price increases (and please check our support page to see if we have a hotel direct link to the property)

We continued bidding, trying 42, 45, 50, 55 and never got accepted. So, we booked a Red Roof Inn on the hotel website. Unfortunately, you didn't have a link for this.
