Scot Krause Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 Only bid on 4* Buckhead. Started out with $55 and increased by $5 every 24 hours until my bid was accepted at $70. The W Buckhead was listing on Expedia.com for $98, so I had a feeling I would wind up there. Was surprised to get the InterContinental for $70!Stayed at the hotel the last 2 nights and had a great time! Gorgeous hotel, very nice!

Scot Krause Posted June 17, 2009 Author Report Posted June 17, 2009 Thanks! I am indeed familiar with the rules for rebidding without waiting 24 hours. However, we specifically wanted a 4* in the Atlanta Buckhead area, so 24 hours was our only option. Fortunately, I started bidding 10 days before our trip, so waiting 24 hours between bids was not a problem! :)
