desertsun
I'm new here so hope I do this right. Successful bids in August for this resort were $60. per night so I knew the winter tourist season would be at least double in price.Priceline suggested a minimum bid of $169.00 for resorts but I could have booked directly with the resort for that price. My bid history:$80 - rejected$90 - rejected$105 - rejected$115 - rejected$130 - accepted (total with tax and fees is $150)I'll post a review of the hotel when we return. Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions posted. We had a not so great Hotwire experience last year so I was skeptical about trying Priceline. However, I did my research, checked the various online travel agencies and with the hotels also to make sure I was not paying more through Priceline than if I booked directly. Cara Link to comment
