Hi.

This website is great! I've been a bit scared to use PRICELINE, but I want to give it a try. I want a 3* or better in Atlantic city or Cape May for 6/20-6/21. (I would like something beachfront.) So is this what I'd do??

I don't think you have it exactly right, so hold off bidding for the moment and let's try to clarify a few things...

First, you can't guarantee a Beachfront property when using PRICELINE. If you only want somthing Beachfront then use HOTWIRE and looking for a property that shows the Beachfront icon.

If your desire for "beachfront" is not a deal breaker and you want to proceed with PRICELINE, you first need to understand re-bidding, which is explained here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained

At the 4* level you have FOUR re-bid zones, at the 3.5* level you have THREE re-bid zones, and at the 3* level you have TWO re-bid zones. Please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and see if yon can determine your re-bid zones at each star level and we'll confirm them for you... if you're not able to do so, or you're confused, just post back and we'll break it down further for you.
