urspider Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 We would like to use PRICELINE or HOTWIRE to stay at the Grand Cypress in mid-July. Any tips for getting this hotel? The last time we tried we ended up at the Gaylord. Nice resort, but they pricelined us. Hotel was empty but they still put is in a remote room, no view and adjoining the hotel laundry. We want to try again for the Grand Cypress, thanks!
thereuare Posted June 13, 2009 Report Posted June 13, 2009 As you see from your previous purchase there is no way to target a specific hotel thru PRICELINE. If you're trying to target, or avoid, a particular property HOTWIRE can often be a better option. You can see the amenities last reported to be associated with the Hyatt Grand Cypress in the Hotwire Hotel List. If you search HOTWIRE for your dates does anything matching that description, or close to it, appear to be offered? If so post the details here and we'll try to confirm/identify it for you. What are the actual date(s) of your stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
urspider Posted June 14, 2009 Author Report Posted June 14, 2009 Thank you. We were hoping to go sometime this summer. We appreciate your website and have found it invaluable. We can usually "pick out" the Hyatt Sarasota by carefully bidding, but we were hoping to do the same with the Grand Cypress. Prices are so low right now, we might just go ahead and pay and know what we are getting. Thanks again.
AaronJB Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 If you want to book the hotel regular rate, deal0hotel is a coupon code that should work to get 10% off each night via Orbitz.com.Please use the site's Orbitz.com link if you decide to go this route. Thanks. :)
