Acc1980 Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 Hello! I'm hoping someone can offer advice for a hotel in Chicago. I'm taking my boyfriend to Chicago Friday, June 26th - Sunday, June 28th for his birthday. Although from Illinois, I'm not familiar with the Chicago hotels at all or their locations. I plan on strolling Michigan Ave, having dinner, horse/carriage ride Friday night, us going to the Taste of Chicago Saturday and then to the Sox/Cubs game at Cellular on Sunday after we check out. So...I'm looking for something centrally located to all of this. I searched Hotwire for that weekend and this is what I came up with: 4* Hotel in Mag Mile-Streeterville - $110Fitness center, pool, restaurants, business center, internet4* in North Michigan Ave - Watertower - Goldcoast - $120Fitness center, restaurants, business center, internet4* in Chicago Loop - $115Boutique, fitness center, restaurants, business center, internet4.5* in Mag Mile - Streeterville - $159Fitness center, resturants, business center, internet3.5* Chicago Loop - $119Fitness center, restuarant, business center, laundry, internet3* Mag Mile - Streeterville - $108Fitness, Business center, internet3.5* North Michigan Ave - Watertower-Goldcoast - $141Boutique, Fitness, restaurant, spa, golf nearby, internet, business ctr, tennis nearbyCan anyone help me out? AaronJB Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)Is there any particular reason you would want the Congress? It's a poorly-rated hotel whose workers have been on-strike for more than a few years now. Thankfully, it's never shown up on PRICELINE or HOTWIRE.Do any of the hotels listed below match the hotels listed on the site's HOTWIRE list for the area here? Please let us know if you would like us to confirm any guesses after checking out that list. Please use the site's HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links, as well. Thanks. :)
