Hotwire Hotel: 3* Dallas (Airport DFW South) Best Western Irving Inn and Suites

Did Hotwire the night before trip. Usually I get the Radison as a 3* in the DFW South Zone so I am disappointed.

I am not very happy with this hotel.

Expedia rates it as a 2.5 star.

I called Hotwire to voice my displeasure. Of course it did no good.

THey said Expdia rated as a 2.5 Orbitz a 3 and Travelocity a 3 so the AVERAGE is 3.

I told the gal on the phone that average would be 2.8 not 3 so they are rounding up.

I guess I cannot trust Hotwire ratings on 3 stars anymore. BUYER BEWARE.

I know thats the deal with Hotwire. But the ratings should be honest.

The ammeties listed were Fitness Center, Pool, and Business Center.

This was the first night of a 12 night trip with the family. It was really just an afterthought to try to get 4 hours down the road a night before the real trip was scheduled. We travel cheap.

As expected this place was not even close to a three star. I don't think you could really call it a two star.

Rude counter service from a teen ager with lots of tatoos. Bugs in the rooms. A 30-40 year old motel with new paint two years ago.

This makes me think that the 3 star rating can never be trusted from HOTWIRE again.

By far the worst place I stayed on the whole trip of La Quintas, Best Westerns, independent motels in Wyoming.

But it was only one night and I learned a valuable lesson about HOTWIRE.

Can you confirm if there was also a Shuttle icon shown before your purchase... you can still view the amenities associated with the property you purchase by going to the MY ACCOUNT link on the top right of HOTWIRE's home page.

This makes me think that the 3 star rating can never be trusted from HOTWIRE again.

You should definately give HOTWIRE your feedback regarding this property as they do take user comments into consideration, but given both Orbitz and Travelocity currently rate this property 3 stars, i don't think you can necessarily single out HOTWIRE.

Glad the rest of your stays went well and you had a nice trip.

I know that there were only three icons with this hotel. My email from the day I booked list amenities as fitness center, pool, business center.

I do not believe that shuttle was ever listed, but don't hold me to that.
