tulla
Hi!I am planning a trip to Paris with my sister and daughter (13 years old, and very tiny). But PRICELINE rooms are for 2 people. Does anyone know if it is possible to get an extra bed somewhere, or have a suggestion for area or stars to bid on to get to a hotel with big enough rooms for 3? Link to comment
WillTravel
I would recommend that you use HOTWIRE, and enter 2 adults and 1 child. It doesn't matter if your niece is tiny. Alternatively, you can book directly. One good site is www.accorhotels.com.When are the dates of your trip, and what star level hotel are you willing to accept? Link to comment
thereuare
In addition to WillTravel's comments above, i'll add that many European hotel rooms are very small, and even if the hotel has rollaway beds, it may not fit in a 'standard' hotel room.I'd agree that HOTWIRE is probably a better option as they will allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and you'll be assured that the room can accomodate all three of you.If you search HOTWIRE for your dates, 2adults/1child, does anything in your desired star rating and budget appear? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. tulla
Thank you for your answers :)I've used HOTWIRE for trips to London, with great luck, but I didn't find anything in my preferred areas in Paris. My budget is up to $170 pr night, preferrable a little less... Dates: 18th to 21th of september. Link to comment
thereuare
I'm sure that searching for triple occupancy is limiting your results (and/or making them more expensive than if searchign for double occupancy)What is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel thru conventional booking channels for this stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. tulla
Yes, I think so too.The best prices I've got is about €400 (560$) for 3 nights, but not in very nice hotels (according to tripadvisor). Link to comment
WillTravel
Right now on HOTWIRE, for 2 adults and 1 child, for your dates, I see 4-star hotel in Eiffel Tower - Mus Link to comment
