bobtop Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 was wishing to stay close to the Jordan, and was wanting the Kras, so tried 5* for awhile, but was afraid that the Hilton would pop up and i would be way south. then tried 4*, and got NH Carlton.started with 5* bidding:Bid $60, countered $80Bid $62, counter $85Bid $64, counter $85Bid $66, counter $83Bid $68, counter $85Bid $70, counter $88Bid $72, counter $88Bid $74, counter $95then, to check, moved to 4*Bid $60, counter $77Bid $65, accepted at the NH Carltonhas anyone stayed there and have some advice??how many floors, better to be high floor or lower?views- canal, garden, buildings, etc. any suggested views?are there king or queen beds, or just 2 twins pushed together with split in middle?i shall assume air conditioning in all rooms, but do the windows open?and yes, i understand thru priceline i get whatever room and location they give, but wish more info please....have stayed in Amsterdam 12 times thru the years, at the marriott, smaller private B+B
