phelan Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 Scored for $85 a night for 4 nights...i was hoping to get it for cheaper but kept getting rejected @ $60-75 range. I'm happy with it but i wish they would also tell me that there's a parking fee associated with this hotel or with most 4* hotels for that matter. After checking out the hotel's website and comparing it to the other 4* hotels in MTL area, they are pretty expensive for parking daily fees (approx $20/day)
thereuare Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your win and thank you for sharing your results with the board. You should expect that most major metropolitan cities are going to charnge for parking. While $20 may seem like a lot if you didn't consider there would be any change, the difference from one hotel to the next is usually not that great... and i just choose another 4* hotel at random in this zone (the Hyatt) and they charge $23/nite parking, so the Omni's rate is probably inline with most others. As well, even if you could find a hotel with cheaper parking, it woudn't make up the nearly $60/nite you saved vs. booking this hotel direct :)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay. phelan Posted June 23, 2009 Author Report Posted June 23, 2009 thought i'd let everyone know, that i called the hotel to confirm 1 king size and non smoking room. They said they can accomodate but they do know for a fact that the booking came through priceline.
