I'm looking to bid on 3* in Paris and just want to know if anyone has successfully bid and if the hotels they received were of good quality. Also what was the accepted bid?

What about 2*? Is that a huge risk in Paris? There are no 2*s listed in Paris on the hotel list.

All hotels reported to the board in this area would be listed in the Priceline Hotel List for this area. (you can also enter "Paris" in the QUICK SEARCH box at the top fo the board inside the blue banner)

As you have found there are 3* hotels reported to the board and listed there... but no 2* hotels. Generally speaking the "deals" are not at as great on the lower rated hotels as there is less margin to discount a $75 hotel room than a $200 hotel room. More importantly, keep in mind that European star ratings are somewhat more 'generous' than in North America, perhaps by a full star rating, so a 3* in Paris could be more like a 2* in the US/Canada (and a Paris 2* more like a 1*) so i think for this reason, and the 'deal factor', they're generally avoided by most users here.

If you need help with an upcoming stay please list your dates of travel, nightly budget, minimum star rating, and zones that you're willing to accept and we'll try to help.
