If you go to PRICELINE and select the Westminster zone you can zoom in/out on the map and it appears that Victoria station is located just in side the western board of this zone... can you confirm that this is the station you're looking for? If so, note that the zone is fairly large (even extends to the other side of the river)... would you be able to accept a hotel anywhere within the shaded boundaries of this zone?

If so, let us kno wyour maximum bid and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. If not, HOTWIRE may still be an option as you can take an educated guess as to what you may likely receive based upon the amenities associated with the property, and therefore also have an educated guess as to where your hotel will be located.

Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.

Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly.

Thanks for writing back to me. We will be arriving in London on Sept. 2 and will be traveling by train or bus from Victoria Station to Southampton on Sept. 5 so we will need a hotel for 3 nights. We'd like to be near Victoria Station. We really don't have a maximum bid. I would say probably a 3 1/2 or 4 star would work for us. I haven't done much research yet because I didn't know what zone to look at but you answered my question about that.

We always use priceline so we will be going that route and will click on the url provided by you.

Thank you once again
