vitch Posted June 6, 2009 Report Posted June 6, 2009 Staying at the Wynn in Vegas - beautiful place. Bid using the betterbiding HOTWIRE link and paid $108/ night for wednesday and thursday. Liked it so much decided to stay Friday night too. Downstairs told us it would be $245 to extend so went back to priceline and paid $119 for the Friday night.Great hotel, beautiful room on the 39th floor overlooking the top of the strip. I asked for a "complimentary upgrade" but the guy at check in said that there was a change of company policy because of the recession and there were no more complimentary upgrades. He tried to sell us a paid upgrade to a suite but we decided to stick with the normal room and it's more than suitable for our needs. We may even stay another night although it doesn't seem to be showing up on hotwire for tomorrow night :)The buffet is really good and you can pay an extra $7 for all the champange you can drink. Our waitress was really nice and I think we got through about a bottle and a half between the two of us :) Set us up perfectly for a lucky night in the casino!!
