thereuare
Using the Hotwire Hotel List....The 4.5* is a match for the InterContinental so that would be our best guess for that one.The 4* is a match for the Hotel Sax so that would be our guess there (with a secondary guess of the Hotel Monaco)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know which you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. AaronJB
The Intercontinental would be right on Michigan Ave, so you're steps from Michigan Ave.However, the Hotel Sax would be in-between the Michigan Ave. and State St. shopping areas, so while not in either, it would put you within very reasonable walking distance to both. Additionally, quite a few nice restaurants in the River North area in the blocks North of the Sax.Both are quite nice in terms of the hotel, although I think the Intercontinental has a pretty fascinating history (the gorgeous hotel pool was originally built in the late '20's and was one of the first pools built on a higher floor.)Please use this HOTWIRE link for any purchases.
