Hotwire Hotel: 4* DC (Dupont Circle-Embassy Row) Hotel Palomar

I am looking for 1 room for 4, travel dates 7/12-7/15. One 4* Dupont Circle available hotel is:

Ammenities: Fitness Center, Swimming Pool, Restaurant, Business Center & High Speed Internet Access.

at $149 per night, I'm guessing it is the Hotel Palomar based on the amenities but they are all so similar.

Would you agree?

Are you searching for 4 adults as i'm not currently seeing any 4* hotel in the Dupont Circle zone when searching your dates for 1room/4adults/0children.

Is the above still appearing on your own HOTWIRE search?

EDIT to ADD: i do see the above now when only searching for 2 adults, and agree the best guess for the property i'm seeing is the Hotel Palomar, but keep in mind when searching for only 2adults you could get a room with only one bed in it which would not be able to accomodate the four of you

I am looking for 1 room for 2 adults and 2 children. That is the main reason I am looking at Hotwire, otherwise I would try Priceline but I don't want to end up with only one bed. I was told that the best alternative is to use Hotwire since you can specify number of people. Make sense?

I just checked Hotwire again and the same hotel appears which I'm guessing is Hotel Palomar since it does not have the Boutique or Spa amenities. However, I wasn't certain which is why I wanted to double check with the forum.

$149 appears to be a good rate for the Palomar.

The other option is $179 for 4.5-star hotel in The White House - Capitol Hill (amenities: Non-smoking, fitness center, restaurant, business center, internet and spa) which I'm guessing is the Willard Inter-Continental. Looks lovely but I don't know for ~$100 more.

Is the HOTWIRE link for booking, the Hotwire area in the upper left that asks for destination and dates?

The search box on the top left of the page is for the defaults 2adults/0children, since you're looking for quad occupacny you can clilck the hotwire logo in the search box, this HOTWIRE link, or the links in my signature (or in the support page)... see how easy it is, they're everywhere :)

I'm now seeing the hotel above when searching for 2adults/2chidlren (didn't last nite). Both hotels get excellent reviews so it comes down to whether one appeals to you more than the other. Admittedly i don't know that much about the Willard InterContinental but if they were both the same price i would likely choose the Palomar for their free internet and free nitely wine reception :) Given that the Palomar is actually less, it would make the decision even easier... but i don't think you could go wrong with either.

I did it! I booked through the HOTWIRE link on your website.

I was nervous but the hotel was the Hotel Palomar so I am very happy with this hotel, for these dates at $149/
