MadFlyer Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Congratulations, your price of $35 was accepted by Courtyard By Marriott Orlando Downtown.Won the same hotel on previous attempt at $40 in April when was trying to get Embassy Suites reported. As rates have been dropping decided to take second room for convenience. Used PRICELINE link. Bid one $33 rejected no rebid offer. Bid two $34 rejected no rebid offer. Bid three $35, accepted. Know I could have gotten Crown Plaza or other 3,5* for $44/45 so decided to try lower. Hotwire was showing 3*, which assume was the Marriott (downgraded) for $56 and 3,5* for $84. Marriott.com showing $109, $98 AAA.
