This is the lowest possible bid that was accepted for a 4* in Jersey, as my 70$ bid was rejected.

201-469-1234

Check-In: Friday, June 19, 2009-03:00 PM

Check-Out: Saturday, June 20, 2009-12:00 PM

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $71.00 (USD)

Number of Rooms: 1

Number of Nights: 1

Room Subtotal: $71.00 (USD)

Taxes and Fees: $18.60 (USD)

Total Room Cost: $89.60 (USD)

I'm wondering if I'd have gotten the Westin if I would have bid around 85$, or does priceline always assign the "cheapest" hotel to winners?

Anyway I'm definitely happy with this hotel, although the parking seems really expensive at USD34/night. Is there any cheaper parking available in that area?

Congratulations on your success!

A very nice deal for this property.. thank you for sharing it with the board.

As far as whether you would have received the Westin if you had bid higher, see this thread: [urlhttp://www.betterbidding.com/show.php/showtopic/611]Don't Bid Higher for a Specific Hotel which explains a bit regarding how hotels are asigned.

I've sent you a PM regarding parking in the area.

I have a qustion. I booked this hotel from priceline as well. Two days, from 18-19 June. My question is: need I offer more money as a deposit when check in? Thanks!
