Story:

Staying in Nashville for a wedding thursday through sunday. I won Thursday night for $43 at Courtyard (see previous post). Friday and Saturday we were going to stay at the Embassy Suites and use the wedding party rate ($109/night), but I conviced my wife that it's worth the 2 minute drive between our hotel and the wedding party's to save some $$$ (looks like close to $150 with taxes). Was hoping to get the Courtyard again to prevent switching hotels, but knew it was probably unlikely, I'm still very happy with the results. Thanks a lot!

Glad to see this worked out fairly well for your plans... not the best case scenario (ie- winning the Coartyard again) but a significant savings vs. staying at the wedding hotel.

Take some of the savings and do something special with/for your wife (extra special dinner, bottle of win you might not otherwise purchase with dinner, etc)... this will increase your chances of doing it again in the future :)
