eyefly Posted June 3, 2009 Author Report Posted June 3, 2009 My previous experiences with getting additional rooms at the same hotel for the same night(s) on priceline is similar to fishing. It seems if you fish in the same fishing hole using the same bait, if a certain hotel is biting, then most likely you have a very good chance at landing the same hotel. I am completely aware that it is like rolling the dice one you hit "buy my hotel room" and for the savings, its the risk I assume. Luckily it has worked out very well so far... I know one day I will gamble and end up down the street. That happened to me with a bid in Denver (Stapleton) in March 09. It turned out to be a good thing because the team was booked at the Doubletree, and I thought based on previous posted wins that I would also get the Doubletree. It turned out that I got the Renasance. I liked it because I was close to the Doubletree, but was able to be with the team when I wanted, but was not disturbed by them in my room. There is always a silver lining if you look for one.
