Need help with an NYC Car Rental

Hey, BetterBidding!

I am looking to book a rental car for this weekend, and Hotwire has some attractive rates. Only thing is, will I be guaranteed top get a reputable "car rental brand"? NYC has some sketchy car rental operations, and I want to make sure I am getting a name brand and the service that backs it up!

Any help, advice would be superlative.
