familyw2kids Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 VA Richmond Airport (RIC) Hyatt Place Richmond Airport 3* New hotel just opened 2 weeks ago. Check there website for full details. Rooms seems very quiet. Upon arrival to our room a family was just entering their room across the hall with a bunch of pizza.. Door open to their room we could clearly hear everyone inside. Door closed, very muffled noises from room. Once in our room we could hear no one. They seemed almost over staffed, staff pleasant. Quick check in and out. Average continental breakfast, cereal, bread, english muffin, juices. Enjoyed the fresh cut melon, grapefruit and starbucks coffee. Great location in the outside of a large shopping and eating district that is maybe a couple of years old at most. Seems like a great value for a 3* We had no noise from the airport air traffic. Our room was on the 7th floor. Nice selection of quick counter services foods for purchase. Would definately stay here again. Link to comment
