Have been trying to get a 4* hotel in the Plaza area over the last weeks, raising the bid everytime. Yesterday my bid was rejected at 120$, no counteroffers.

Today I started at 125$ for a 4* hotel with the plaza area, counteroffer of 147$ (add 22$). Rejected the counteroffer and added free rebid zone for 130$. Accepted by the La Posada.

Rates start at 300$ at their own site and on Expedia, so I'm happy. Reviews seem a bit mixed on tripadvisor, but we will see for ourselves. It looks like a very nice property.

I used the PRICELINE link for all my attempts :).

Congratulations on your success!

Looks like an excellent deal with some very nice savings! I suspect some of the negative reviews have to deal with a price to value ratio... when paying $300+ nite for a hotel room it comes with many expectations, and too often the expectations from expensive hotels just aren't met (sometimes the hotel falls short... sometimes the guests expectations aren't reasonable); either way, it can result in negative reviews. Fortunately, at $130/nite, cost probably isn't going to be too much of an issue relative to the service you receive.

Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.

Enjoy your stay.
