Sounds like a decent enough deal... i just took a quick look at some pictures of this property (i was curious what a 1* hotel would look like) and it looks ok (it was rated 2.5* on the site i looked at). If you have a digital camera please take some property and room photos and post them at Real Hotel Photos .com as i would be interested in how they compare.

I had stayed at Kona Seaside before in Dec of 2002. It's comparable to a BW, much better quality than the 1* rated by Priceline (whereas the Hilo Seaside really does deserves the 1*).

The location is right at in downtown of Kailua-Kona and parking is free. (At least it was the last time we were there )

I'll try to remember to take some photos of the room & exterior of the hotel. Its website does have some good pictures of the hotel.

Can't wait to do some snorkeling :)
