Priceline Hotel: Help 3.5* Downtown (location key)

We are doing a stop over in DC Saturday night in June. Location is the key for us as we want to see the downtown sights and then head home. On Hotwire I found a 3.5 * (I think Hotel George) for $79 ($97 total with tax + fees) . I'm hoping I can do better on priceline.

It looks like priceline has good 3.5* but I'm a little concerned about how their downtown goes up to Dupont Circle (maybe too far). There are 3 of us but we can do a single bed with no problem.

How cheap do you think I can go?

If location is really the key and most imporant factor than i would suggest going with a HOTWIRE property in which you could reasonably identify the hotel before your purchase (and thus have a reasonable guess as to the location)... not to mention that you'll be triple occupancy.
