A good way to see what hotels parcitipate with Hotwire is to research their vacation package.

I think the best way to go about this is to do a Hotwire search for your date(s) of travel and then post the details here for any hotels that you would consider and are in your price range.

What are those numbers next to the information you provided? :)

It seems to me as if you are willing to accept a hotel in either zone, no?

If that is correct i would bid as follows:

Select 2.5* Palm Desert and...

Bid $41, if rejected close that browser and re-access Priceline however you did previously.

Select 2.5* Palm Springs and...

Bid $46, if rejected add Palm Desert and...

Bid $50.

If the above is rejected i would wait 72 hours again bid again as follows:

Select 2.5* Palm Desert and...

Bid $51, if rejected close that browser and re-access Priceline however you did previously.

Select 2.5* Palm Springs and...

Bid $53, if rejected add Palm Desert and...

Bid $55.

BTW, i believe Hotwire has the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Cathedral City for about $58.

Thanks. I'm trying to work through your logic. So you are saying sign into Priceline, bid $41 in PD only, if rejected close out my browser without signing out, go back in, sign in again (I dont save my signons), bid $46 in PS only, if rejected add PD and bid $51. What does closing out the browser and going back in do? Sorry, guess I'm missing something.

If you don't first bid the zones separately you only can make two bids each 'cycle'.... bidding them as above gives you the opportunity to make three bids each pass thru.

Again, the above bidding assumes that you are comfortable with either zone, which i thought you were but 100% certain from your previous post.

If the above doesn't make sense let us know and we'll explain further.
