Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Ventura (Ventura-Oxnard) Country Inn and Suites

Been working on this for some time - business in Santa Barbara and trying for 2 weeks in both Santa Barbara and/or Ventura area. Just couldn't get a bid accepted for inclusive time frame - suppose because of extra high rates on weekend. Decided today to shorten the requested stay period and try again. Had originally gone up to $85 for a 2.5* with rejections. By taking out the weekend accepted for the $65 rate. Reviews on this hotel aren't real good but my husband & I work together and have stayed here many times - maybe we just aren't real picky but rooms have always been clean, beds comfortable and staff great so we have had no complaints. Guess we will look "inland" for the weekend. This NC gal has seen enough of the Pacific - would rather spend my $$ elsewhere.

Thanks again for your site - we pay all our own expenses and you have saved us alot of $$$$$ since using the site. First thought was but we aren't racking up the "points" until my brain kicked in and I looked at how many "free" rooms I could get with the money we saved and I don't have to spend it on rooms. LOL
