Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Los Angeles (Airport LAX) Hilton

Original bid was for 4* LAX at $50 - came back with offer of $64. Only allowed me to rebid that amount. None of the change another things and rebid - don't know if they have changed their procedures or if just a fluke. Left site and came back in thru BB PRICELINE link with new offer adding Culver, dropping to 3.5* and increasing bid to $55. Accepted.

Regarding the 4-star hotel in LAX at hotwire, which is the Sheraton Gateway I think, if true, this hotel got and continue to get very negative reviews at tripadvisor, anyone has any comments regarding this hotel and/or those negative reviews?

Not sure if i'm following your post correctly, but it's always been PRICELINE's policy that in order to undercut the counter-offer, you need to add a re-bid zone OR lower the star rating... you can't simply add a lower price than their suggested amount.

Regarding the 4-star hotel in LAX at hotwire, which is the Sheraton Gateway I think...

There is more than one 4* in the LAX offered thru HOTWIRE, and given no description was given of the one above, not sure why you think it was the Sheraton that was offered. Regardless, this isn't the appropriate thread to have a tangential discussion regarding the Sheraton, if you have a need to discuss this property in regards to an upcoming purchase/stay in this zone please start a NEW TOPIC for your own stay.
